No problems at all; service was done as advertised. Enjoyed the popcorn. Staff was helpful in resolving my infotainment questions.

It should not take 2 hours for a 30 minute oil change

The actual service itself, handled by Jake, was excellent. I am disappointed that VW will not cover a new charger for the car, which broke during routine use. My home charger is my main charger and I have a holder for the plug that connects to the vehicle. It is used and put away properly each time. I can't imagine the charger would last even 6 months if it were improperly used and stored. Also, my rating with making the appointment for the service with customer service advisor Amanda would be 0/5. I called in to make the service appointment and asked what else I could do since my charger was not connecting well and it had made the vehicle difficult to charger at other chargers for some reason. She suggested I bring it in for service to have my service light reset. When I told her there was no service light on, and instead I was getting a message that I had a service inspection due, she paused and decided it was probably because I had not had an oil change done for some time. During the rest of our conversation, she doubled down, insisting that my EV just needed another oil change, despite me saying, "so, you're telling me my electric car needs an oil change and you are saying you'll charge me for an oil change with the upcoming service?" to which she replied yes. I concluded by telling her that it is troubling that the dealership was recommending oil changes for EV's and that I was going to hang up because I was super concerned about any dealership recommending service work for cars that don't need that type of maintenance. After my successful service with Jake, I suggested he maybe put a pamphlet describing VW vehicles on her desk to look at, in case she wanted to learn what an EV or ICE car is. I was not joking. It's kind of amazing that a service advisor has no idea about cars at all, but just another clear indicator of the fast decline of western civilization.

Witham Auto offered us a trade-in-and-new-car exchange that we would have been foolish to ignore, given the tariff regime about to be imposed on the US auto market. The sales staff at Witham were superb. We cannot too highly praise Pat NaviaSaldivar, our sales consultant, and Sebastian Hanson, the Sales Manager, for their work with us on the transaction.

My salesperson (Haley) was great to work with! She was friendly and kept me posted on the car that I wanted.
